Galaxy S26 Ultra is making with charging speed

Ana sayfa / News

South Korean tech giant Samsung is taking a significant step forward in charging speeds for mobile devices. The company is increasing wired charging support to 60W on its new flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra. This represents a significant increase compared to the previous Ultra models, which currently support 45W charging.

Samsung is understood to be providing this new, high-speed charging capability with a technology it calls Super Fast Charging 3.0. Traces of this technology have been detected in the One UI 8.5 software code that Samsung is currently developing. Super Fast Charging 3.0 represents the software feature required for a significant increase in charging speed.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be released in early 2026, and this device is planned to be the first to feature this new super fast charging technology. The company likely aims to reduce the time it takes to reach a full charge without altering the device’s battery capacity.

Currently, the majority of Samsung devices support 25W fast charging, while some higher-end models offer 45W support. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be the first Samsung device to exceed this limit, reaching 60W charging speeds.

Super Fast Charging 3.0 technology is not expected to be extended to older Samsung phone models due to its hardware requirements. If it were a software expansion, it would be visible in the beta version of One UI 8.5 sometime next month. For now, Super Fast Charging 3.0 remains a secret code feature that will officially launch with Samsung’s next-generation flagships.
